The rental guide

Good questions.
Clearer decisions.

A room listing is a starting point. These are the details to confirm before you make arrangements.

01

Start with your plans.

Include the room reference, your intended dates, number of occupants and any particular requirements. Ask about the current availability and whether the unit suits your intended use.

02

Confirm the full cost.

Request the current asking rent, deposit, payment frequency, minimum lease and all separate fees. Ask about utility charges, internet, management fees and any one-off costs. Amounts are unconfirmed unless stated on a room page.

03

Check use and registration.

Where a unit is registered for office use, this is stated on its room page. Confirm whether your intended stay or use is permitted and what accommodation registration conditions apply. Registration support is subject to enquiry.

04

Understand the area.

Room cards show in-unit area from title records, rounded to two decimals. Room details show the recorded precision and the common allocation calculated as total registered area minus in-unit area. The common allocation is not private living space. In-unit title area may include walls and applicable balcony areas; measured usable floor area is not yet available.

05

Ask to see the details.

Ask about the layout, furnishings, facilities and current condition. You may request an in-person or video viewing; arrangements and availability need to be confirmed directly.

06

Agree the terms before committing.

Confirm the exact room, dates, payable amounts, conditions and documents with the contact person before making a decision. Keep a written record of the agreed terms.
